Notice: Pending a change in the law, the DMV is scheduled to eliminate form ( OL 392) . This form may or may not be required when taking the Permit test.

Before a student can obtain a Provisional Permit they must complete driver's education and have received a Certificate of Completion ( pink or Blue). In addition they need to be enrolled in a Driver Training Program. All other requirements for a minor to obtain a drivers license remain unchanged.

The permit is not legal to drive on until after the first lesson. The permit is stamped and validated on this lesson.

The Driver Instruction requirement set forth by the DMV for teenagers requires a full 6 hours of behind the wheel instruction by a certified driving instructor. Precision Driving School South drivers training course meets these requirements, stressing the finer points of good judgement and defensive driving required for accident prevention.

Once your registration has been received we will contact you to complete your enrollment and to arrange for your certificate to be picked up or mailed.
